The innovative Electronic-locking Front and Rear Axle system on the 2022 Ford Bronco Badlands SUV locks the wheels on each axle, giving you optimal traction and improved off-road performance when needed. The Sasquatch package includes front and rear locking differentials (available on all trims and standard on Badlands™, Wildtrak™, Everglades™, and Raptor™).
Advanced 4x4 with Automatic On-Demand Engagement
The 4x4 system with Automatic On-Demand Engagement is an advanced feature available on the 2022 Ford Bronco Badlands SUV. It uses an electronically controlled, on-demand two-speed transfer case that continuously varies power to the front wheels, giving you optimum performance no matter the terrain. This system has four modes plus Neutral, so you can always find the right setting for the conditions. And if you’re driving in really challenging conditions or need to tow a heavy object, the electronically locked power to both axles and ability to increase wheel torque will give you the traction and power you need to get the job done.*
