“I would like to express a heartfelt, huge thank you to the service department at Dorian Ford.
I am a Home Infusion Nurse for McLaren Home Infusion. I had an issue with my car this morning and after waiting three and a half hours for a tow truck, my car was towed to Dorian Ford.
In our current pandemic situation, needless to say they were extremely busy. I explained that I was a nurse and that my job was to give infusions to patients in their homes. I also explained that I needed to be in Northern Michigan by Sunday to see patients up north all next week.
Roxanne was so understanding and allowed me to wait for Shawn to speak with him about my situation. I spoke with Shawn and he immediately went to work to see if he could help me out. Long story, short, he arranged to have my car repaired in less than three hours after I got there. I would like to thank Shawn for his assistance, and the other employees, Roxanne, James, Kayla and Gina for being so kind and understanding.
I frequently use the Quick Lane across the street for my routine maintenance on my vehicle and have always received wonderful customer service there also. I will highly recommend Dorian Ford to all of my nursing colleagues.
This dealership deserves 10 stars!
Thank you so much!”

Fraser, Michigan Has A Rich History!
The Detroit- Erin Blank Road Company started constructing Utica Plank Road in 1851, which made travel simpler. This road runs from Gratiot Turnpike to the City of Utica. Consequently, this is how Fraser started and formed into the crossroads community that it became. At one point, it was even called McPhersonville, for a postmaster named David McPherson, but it was changed back to Fraser in 1863.
The area was named after Alexander J. Frazer. There was confusion on how to spell the cities name, but a vote was held by residents in 1928 that favored officially spelling the name of the area with an 's' rather than a 'z.' Fraser has been a German farming community for much of its existence. During its early days, it was home to a stave mill, post office, cigar manufacturing company, town hall, blacksmith shop owned by Fred Eberlein in 1856, hotel, church, school, and a railroad depot. Today the residents of this area enjoy local amenities such as Harrington Trails Park, Meadows Park, and the Fraser Fresh Farmers Market.
