Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking

If the system’s sensors detect a potential collision with a car or pedestrian in front of you, a warning flashes and an audible alert sounds. * Also, the brakes will precharge and increase brake-assist sensitivity to provide full responsiveness when you do brake. If you do not take corrective action and a collision is imminent, the brakes can automatically apply.

*Driver-assist features are supplemental and do not replace the driver’s attention, judgment and need to control the vehicle. Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking detects pedestrians, but not in all conditions, and can help avoid or reduce a collision. It does not replace safe driving. See owner’s manual for details and limitations.

FordPass® Connect

With FordPass® Connect,5 Ford owners and passengers can enjoy an available 4G LTE in-vehicle Wi-Fi hotspot, powered by AT&T. Up to 10 devices can connect at once, and you can use FordPass161 to keep track of your Wi-Fi data usage. You can access the hotspot up to 50 feet outside the vehicle. Now you can stay connected, even as you roam the highways.

FordPass Connect (optional on select vehicles), the FordPass App; and complimentary Connected Service are required for remote features (see FordPass Terms for details). Connected service and features depend on compatible AT&T network availability. Evolving technology/cellular networks/vehicle capability may limit functionality and prevent operation of connected features. Connected service excludes WiFi hotspot. Cargo load capacity limited by Weight and weight distribution.

Safety Canopy® – Side-Curtain Airbags

The side-curtain airbags deploy downward and outward toward the side-window opening to protect the heads of front passengers. Roll-fold technology helps the airbag slide between the glass and occupant as the airbag inflates. The Safety Canopy® side-curtain airbags will not interfere with properly installed child-safety seats or booster seats and are designed to stay inflated longer for added protection in a rollover. *
